كانت الفيلسوفة الألمانية الأمريكية حنه آرنت الغائبة في الدراسات الفلسفية العربية ما عدا بعض المقالات أو الترجمات أو الكتب الضئيلة أو الرسائل الجامعية التي ننتظر يوماً أن تخرج إلى النور لتفيد القارئ العربي بالأفكار الأصيلة والتثويرية لهذه الفيلسوفة. بعض أعمالها مثل «الشرط الإنساني» (1958)، «حياة الفكر» (1978)، «محاولات في الفهم» (1983)، «قراءات في الفلسفة السياسية عند كانط» (1992)، «المسؤولية والحكم» (2003) هي في حاجة ماسّة إلى الترجمة. أقول كانت غائبة بالمقارنة مع كثافة الدراسات والترجمات والكتب والملتقيات المخصَّصة لها في القارات الخمس من العالم.
تأتي هذه المحاولة لتلبّي الحاجة وتضطلع بقراءة في أفكار آرنت من زوايا مختلفة وتشمل مباحث متنوّعة لها علاقة بالفاعلية البشرية وسؤال الحرية ومسألة السياسة والفضاء العمومي ومعضلة العنف والاستبداد بالإضافة إلى مباحث الثقافة والتربية والتاريخ والتراث. في ظل الانتفاضات الحامية الوطيس التي مرّت بها الرقعة الجغرافية العربية ولا تزال تتكبّد هزّاتها الثانوية، ألا تُشكّل أفكار آرنت مادّة دسمة وثريّة في قراءة الشرط الإنساني العربي؟ ألا يمكن لنظرياتها في السياسة والحرية أن تُضيء بعض الزوايا المعتمة من وجودنا وحياتنا؟ يشتغل فكر آرنت كـ«نسق فلسفي» تتعاضد فيه المفاهيم وتتحوّل وتتّخذ مواقع جديدة تبعاً للتفسير الممكن وضعه بشأن تطوّر السياسة أو الثقافة عبر التاريخ. يمكن أن نطرح جُملة من البداهات التي التزمت بها آرنت طيلة مشوراها الفكري والتي تُدبّر الهيكل العام لكتاباتها الفلسفية والسياسية. تكمن هذه البداهات في اعتبار الحرية جوهر السياسة؛ وأنّ هذه الحرية لا تتحقّق سوى في السياسة.
