نسعى في هذا الكتاب إلى دراسة الأبعاد التركيبية والدلالية والتداولية للعلامات السيميائية اللسانية دراسة تطبيقية في موطأ مالك، وتحليلها من خلال تضافر العلامات غير اللسانية مع العلامات اللسانية، ودعمها لها، في إنتاج الدلالة وتداولها، وإيصال الفكرة، والتأثير في نفس المتلقي وسلوكه، وتبيان المقاصد الدينية.
ولتحقيق ذلك وقفنا على مفهوم العلامة، كونها من المفاهيم اللسانية المهمة التي أذاعتها سيميولوجيا فرديناند دو سوسير، إنطلاقاً من أنّ اللغة نسق من العلامات تعبِّر عن الأفكار، وتناولنا مرجعياتها اللسانية، والمنطقية، والسلوكية، ودرسنا بعض العلامات في الجانب الإشاري الجسمي، وبعضها في الجانب الثقافي المتمثل في علامات اللون، واللباس، والطعام، والعدد، بوصفها أنساقاً دالة، وموضوعات تداولية تؤشر على الهوية الثقافية للمتواصلين، وبعضها الآخر في الجانب الإستعاري، فتناولنا توليد دلالاتها، وذكرنا أنَّها انصرفت إلى المجال التداولي، فدرسناها بوصفها نشاطاً لغوياً يستدعي حضور أطراف الخطاب جميعاً، وتحدثنا عن مظهريها، المقصدية والمقبولية، ووقفنا على بنيتها الأيقونية، ففككنا أنساقها، كونها أداة وضوح ووسيلة للمعرفة الإضافية، التي تمثلت في الأنساق الحسية البصرية، واللمسية، والشمية، والذوقية.
