احتلّت الحركة الإسلامية حيّزاً كبيراً من الأحداث في العقدين الأخيرين، فقد فرضت نفسها - إن بالتيار المقاوم فيها، أو بالأجنحة التي مارست، وتمارس الإرهاب - في الدول العربية والعالم بكلّ قوّة.
ومن وجهة نظر الأخيرة، تدعي أنها تفعل ذلك تحت شعار "الإسلام"، والذي درسناه في مدارسنا على غير الصورة التي تقدمها لنا فصائل هذا التيار، فهو دين مقاومة العدو، وفي مرحلتنا الرّاهنة هو العدو الصهيوني، الأوْلى بتوجيه السّلاح ضدّه.
الإسلام هو دين الدعوة بالحسنى، ونصرة الضعيف، وتحقيق العدالة، والرأفة والتعايش مع أصحاب الديانات الأخرى ممّن يعيشون في البلدان الإسلامية.
إجمالاً، فإنّ ما يطرحه هذا الكتاب هو من قضايا الساعة، ولربما كأي موضوع سيثير نقاشاً بين المثقفين والمختلفين معه، ومن المهم التأكيد أن ما هدفت إليه هو إيضاح ظاهرة الإرهاب الذي تمارسه التنظيمات الأصولية المتطرفة تحت غطاء الإسلام، والذي يدعو إلى مقاومة أعداء الدنيا والدين الذين يغتصبون فلسطين.
والسؤال الذي يظل يفرض نفسه: لماذا لا توجّه هذه التنظيمات بنادقها نحو العدو الصهيوني؟ هذا ما حاولتُ الإجابة عنه في كتابي، آملاً أن أكون قد أضأت شمعة ولو صغيرة في هذا الظلام الدامس الذي تختلط فيه الأشياء والظواهر بعجرها وبجرها، بغثّها وسمينها، ويظل الحكم على هذا العمل للقارئ الكريم وحده.
