في هذا الكتاب نذهب مع المعلم (كمال جنبلاط) لنحلّق في آفاق بعيدة، تسمو فيها الروح عبر: "جلسات وحوارات" قام بها في الفترة من عام (1960-1971).
جاء الكتاب باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، ويتضمن رحلات عبر خلالها كمال جنبلاط إلى الهند وبلدان أوروبية وعربية ووسائل بعث بها إلى أصدقاء، وهي في مضمونها رحلات روحانية تتجسد فيها رؤية المعلم في مسائل مثل: جوهر الوجود، البداية والنهاية، المبدأ والمنتهى، الموت والفناء، والجنة والنعيم وغيرها من التأملات وصور المعتقدات ..
يقول المؤلف "هذه التأملات والتصورات مجتمعة لا معنى لها هناك فيه أو من خلاله وكأننا نعيشها في الأبدية أو في الوعي الأبدي أو ما وراء الزمن أو حيث الفضاء نفسه قد زاد أو تلاشى" . كان هذا في رسالة موجهة إلى أليس بتاريخ 12 حزيران 1962، يصف لها فيها رحلة تفوق الخيال "عشرة أيام في "ملاكارا" وثلاثة في "تريفندروم" والباقي أمضيته على الطريق وفي "بومباي" وكأنني طائر الفينيق لا بل أكثر من ذلك.
وفي الكتاب أيضاً نصوص مترجمة لفلاسفة ورجال دين هنود مثل غورو ناثان (بسرد من بلاكريشنا) وقصص من الوعي والحلم والوعي والتجسد والتجلي والصلاة وغيرها.
ولعل عناوين الكتاب تومئ بمضمونه وفيها نقرأ: "ألم الفراق" ، "الوعي والحلم" ، "لقاء غوروناثان مع الحكيم" ، "مها سمادهي المعلم الحكيم" ... أستاذ مدرسة إيرانييل" ، "الشلل اليوغي أو الحساسية المفرطة" ، ورحلة مع "راجشوردايال" في "ديلهي" ورواية "بلا كريشنا" (...) وعناوين أخرى ذات صلة.
