بقلم متوقد، ينطلق من قيم الإنتماء الوطني والتسامح الديني والمحبة، تكتب الشاعرة "وفاء موفق الدالاتي": "لوحات شاعرية من الطبيعة، ومن الطفولة ومن مواضيع أخرى"، بهذه الكلمات تفتتح الشاعرة "صفحات مورقة" لتؤشر على ذلك البعد الروحي في النظرة إلى علاقة التلازم بين الذات الشاعرة ومعانٍ إنسانية أخرى حاولت وفاء قولها عبر تلك الصفحات.
في القصيدة التي اتخذت منها عنواناً للديوان: "صفحات مورقة" تقول الشاعرة: "على متن الحروف/ أبحرت الأفكار / كسفينٍ يصبو إلى المدى/ فيجاذب شراعه التيار/ الموج من أمامه/ يرفرف كستار/ من خلف نافذةٍ/ تعج بالأخبار/ أخبار الموانئ/ البعيدة والأمصار، فضاءه يوماً ملبداً/ يبني حوله الأسوار (...) ويحيل اليوم إلى غدٍ/ حلو مورق الأشعار".
وبين البداية والنهاية تنثر الشاعرة نصوصها وكأنها دروس للحياة تقول للقارئ أن الحياة لا تكتمل بدون غاية يعيش لها الإنسان، من هنا تختتم الشاعرة عملها بـ "... إن لم تلهمك كلماتي/ قبساً من نور الخيرات/ والجد لغد أفضل آتٍ فأعد ترتيلها وتفكر/ لا بد لوقتك أن يثمر/ بطيب معان وصفات/ والصبح حينئذ يسفر/ عما تعنيه كلماتي".
