هذا بحث يهدف إلى دراسة الجملة الفعلية في شعر المتنبي (استفهامية ومؤكدة) مستقصيا النماط المختلفة من خلال الديوان والموازنة بين هذه الأنماط مستشهدا على كل نمط مبينا نسب التردد في كل نمطمع تحليل هذه الأنماط تحليلا علميا تتضح من خلال الظواهر العامة في الأسلوب لشعر المتنبي الذي أخذته مجالا لهذه الدراسة التطبيقية الاحصائية باعتباره واحدا من أكبر شعراء العربية وابعدهم صيتا وأكثرهم قدرة على استخدام اللغة.. بل لقد حقق المتنبي نصيبا كبيرا من شهرته بسبب استخداماته الجديدة لألفاظ مما أوقعته مع اللغويين والنحاة وأثار حيرتهم ما ختلفت آراؤهم. كما يهدف البحث إلى دراسة الدلالات اللغوية المتعددة الأدوات حسبما جاءت في شعر المتنبي ومقارنتها بما قرره النحاه وتثبيت أوجه الاختلاف والاتفاق كأدوات النفي أو الاستفهام او التوكيد وغيرها من المعاني التى تمليها مقتضيات البحث..
