مرت عدة أيان ، والوهم يلاحقنى كظلى إلى كل مكان فى المنزل ، فى سيارة الأجرة ، فى المقهى ، فى الشارع ، فى العمل ، حتى أفقدتنى قدرتى على التركيز والنوم ، وأصابنى بالجنون ، فلا يمكننى السكوت على هذا الوضع أكثر من ذلك ، قمت بتشغيل جهاز الحاسوب ، وقمت بالدخول على الشبكة العنكبوتية إلى محرك جوجب للبحث ، وأدخلت عبارة "تخيل أشخاص وهميين" ، وما إن ضغطت على كلمة بحث ، حتى ظهرت أمامى مئات الصفحات التى تناقش الموضوع.
أمضيت الليل بأكمله ، وانا أقرأ تلك الصفحات ، وجميعها كانت لؤكد لى أننى مصاب بمرض "الشيزوفرينيا" أو انفصام الشخصية ، فجميع الأعراض تنطبق تماما على حالتى : عدم القدرة على التركيز ، عدك القدرة على النوم ، الاوهاك كسماع أصوات أو رؤية أشخاص غير موجودين فى الواقع وغيرها من الأعراض التى أعانى منها.
أصبت بهلع ، الهلع هذا أيضا عرض آخر من الأعراض التى قرأت عنها. هل من علاج؟
واصلت بحثى على الشبكة العنكبوتية ، وصعقت وأنا أقرأ : "إن مرض الشيزوفرينيا" لايمكن العلاج منه ، ولكن هناك بعض الأدوية التى تخفف من أعراضه يا إلهى ! هل سيبقى هذا الوهم ينغص على حياتى إلى الأبد؟
