أما الشيء الجذاب في هذه الرواية فيكمن في اللغة التي لا نظير لها في الأدب الألماني؛ إذ أنّ أمينه سيفغي أوزدومار تسرد بلغة ألمانية ساحرة، صوراً بعيدة وتجارب مجهولة وايقاعات رائعة.
وبقدر ما يتم سرد العدد اللامتناهي للقصص والحكايات بمهارة بالغة ومقدرة فنية فإن لهذه اللغة إيقاعها الطبيعي كأنما هي منبثقة عن عالم مشرقي لا تزال تُحكى فيه الحكايات، إلا أنها لم تُكتب.
