عز الدين المناصرة (11أبريل- 1946م) ..
شاعر وناقد ومفكر فلسطيني من مواليد محافظة الخليل، وهو حاصل على شهادة (الليسانس) في (اللغة العربية، والعلوم الإسلامية) في جامعة القاهرة 1968- ثم أكمل دراساته العليا لاحقاً، وحصل على (شهادة التخصص) في الأدب البلغاري الحديث و(درجة الدكتوراه) في النقد الحديث والأدب المقارن في جامعة صوفيا، عام 1981.
كما حصل على رتبة الأستاذية (بروفيسور) في جامعة فيلادلفيا عام 2005.

يعتبر هذا الكتاب أول كتاب يصدر عن السينما الإسرائيلية في الوطن العربي، الذي ضم بحثاً هو أوفى ما كتب باللغة العربية عن السينما الصهيونية.
يطرح المؤلف تساؤل يتردد في الأوساط الثقافية: عن إمكانية وجود أفلام إسرائيلية ويهودية، معادية للصهيونية، وإن وجدت فلماذا يقلل النقاد السينمائيون وصناع السينما من أهميتها فيصفونها بالصهيونية، يحاول المؤلف عبر هذا الطرح الذهاب بعيداً في جذور السينما الإسرائيلية للوصول على ضوء هذا البحث إلى واقعها وحقيقتها للوقوف من خلال إنتاجاتها على رؤية نقدية علمية تحدد ماهيتها وأبعادها لإنصاف الجيد منها.
