أبو نعيم الأصبهاني (336 - 430 هـ = 948 - 1038 م)
أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن إسحاق بن موسى بن مهران الأصبهاني، أبو نعيم: حافظ، مؤرخ، من الثقات في الحفظ والرواية.
ولد ومات في أصبهان.
من تصانيفه (حلية الأولياء وطبقات الأصفياء - ط) عشرة أجزاء، و (معرفة الصحابة) كبير، بقيت منه مخطوطة في مجلدين، عليها قراءة سنة 551 في مكتبة أحمد الثالث، بطوبقبو سراي، باستنبول، الرقم 497 كما في مذكرات الميمني - خ (1). و (طبقات المحدثين والرواة) و (دلائل النبوة - ط) و (ذكر أخبار أصبهان - ط) مجلدان، وكتاب (الشعراء - خ)

Book Description
تضمن هذا الجزء طرق حديث "زر غبّاً تزدد حبّاً"، اقتصر فيه المصنف على إيراد المرفوع منه دون الموقوف، وتكمن أهميته فيما تفرد بإخراجه عن غيره من الحفاظ من أسانيد لهذا الحديث.
ممّا يُمكِّن الباحث من الوقوف على الطرق الغريبة للحديث، أو ما اصطلح عليه المحدثون، بــ: (الغرائب)، بغضِّ النَّظر عن درجتها صِحة أو ضَعفاً؛ والذي أعنيه في هذا المقام الغرابة في الإسناد.
ويُلاحظ أيضاً كثرة الشيوخ الذين سَمع منهم الحافظ أبو نعيم هذا الحديث على صِغَر حجم الكتاب مع علوِّ سَنده في كثير من الطرق؛ وعددهم نحوٌ من عشرين شيخاً، وهو ما يُبيِّن سِعة روايته وقوة إطلاعه وكثرة شيوخه، وهي مَنقبة انفرد بها المصنف وبزَّ بها أقرانه.
ولذا قال ابن كثير: "دلَّت "حلية الأولياء" على إتِّساع روايته وكثرة مشايخه، وقوّة إطِّلاعه على مخارج الحديث وشُعبِ طُرقه"، وقال المذهبي: "وكان حافظاً مُبرِّزاً عالي الإسناد، تفرَّد في الدنيا بشيء كثير من العَوالي وهاجَر إليه كثير من الحفاظ"، وقال الصفدي: "له العُلو في الرواية والحِفظ والفَهم والدِّراية".
