"... أقبع بين هذه الجدران، أسيراً حائراً، يبصق الوقت في وجهي حكايا وذكريات متفرقة من حياةٍ عشتها ولا أتذكرها إطلاقاً، أفني جُلَّ وقتي غير الثمين محاولاً جمع تلك الحكايا والذكريات، أعيد فرزها ولصقها وربطها بعضها ببعض، أريد أن أتخلّص من هذه الحيرة الخانقة، أريد بكلّ كياني أن أحصل على القصة كاملةً، أن أعرف لماذا أنا هنا، وكيف دخلت إلى هذه الزنزانة، وماذا اقترفت لأستحقّ هذا العقاب، لكني أبدو كمن يحاول جمع أجزاء صورةٍ ممزقةٍ فقدت الكثير من أجزائها، أو كمن يحاول حلّ أحجيةٍ عقيمة حاول الكثيرون حلّها دون جدوى، يفنى الإنسان وتبقى الأحجية عصيّةً على الحلّ، عصيةً على المهم".
