ما باله يسكن القلب، وهو نسمة عابرة في حياته، نسمة خلّفت رعشة في لقاءٍ حميمي، جمعت بين أمه وأبيه ذات ليلة قبل ربيع واعد، تساءل في سرّه، ثم ما لبث أن عاد إلى رشده، وعاد ضجيج الطائرة السوداء وهي تُلقي حممها، استجمع ما تبقى من قوة، أراد أن يصرخ بوجوه الغائبين والحاضرين، لكنّه أحسّ ضيقاً في صدره، وأنَّ حباله الصوتية لا تساعده على إخراج صوته المدوي دائماً، ناشد الحسني واستنجد بجده الغوث، ثم أطلق صرخته الأولى: أغثني يا باز، ثم أطلق صرخة ثانية شقت عنان صدره، بعد أن خرجت من قلبه مباشرة: لست خائناً.. لست خائناً.. الوطن كلّ شيء.. والله ما فررت إلا لكي أنجو بنفسي وعيالي من هذه المذبحة.. يا رب الكون.. يا رب العباد.. يا رب المتعبين والمقهورين والخائفين افتح لي بابك، لقد فتحت لنا الحرب أبواب الجحيم، الموت يتربصنا من كلّ جانب، ولم يتبق إلا بابك، يا رب افتح بابك لكل الناجين بأنفسهم وعيالهم، فأنا ومعي كلّ المهزومين نقف على أعتابك، ثم جثا على ركبتيه، ونادى: ""هل هناك باب يفضي إلى كلّ الأبواب؟!
