وجعل للكتاب خاتمة تحدثت عن الكرامات التي لا يعلم أسماء أصحابها، والمنقولة عن الثقات الذين رأوها أو ذكروها في كتبهم، أما مقدمة الكتاب فاشتملت على مطالب وفوائد جليلة في شأن الأولياء، ,إثبات كراماتهم وبيان أنواعها وذكر مراتبهم في الولاية، وهذه تصلح لأن تكون كتاباً مستقلاً، هذا وقد اتبعت المقدمة بمائة حديث أكثرها صحاح حسان في معجزات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وابتعت الأحاديث بكرامات الصحابة رضي الله عنهم مرتبة على حروف المعجم، وهم أربعة وخمسون، واتبعت بكرامات من اسمه محمد من الأولياء تعظيماً لهذا الاسم الشريف .
