هذه مجموعة من ثلاث مجموعات مازالت محفوظة وأتمنى أن يتاح لها التنفس أو أن تخرج من هذا الكمون الثقيل، فإن الانشغال بأمور الحياة لا تترك فرصاً كثيرة للاهتمام بشئ آخر ولو كان عملاً أدبياً له حق الوجود، وكنت كلما حاولت كتابة مقدمة لتلك المجموعة نحيتها جانباً، إنها تجربة غربة طويلة امتدت لربع قرن فيها مفارقاتها ولها آثارها، وربما أعود لتصوير تفاصيل تلك الفترة نثراً، ولكن يكفي الآن ما صوره الشعر، فالشعر لدى الشاعر ترجمة قهرية لحقيقة مشاعر الحزن والفرح وهو وسيلته لرصد ونقل الحقائق في إيقاع نافذ وبوتقته التي تنصهر فيها تجربته ولوحته التي يصور علهيا نموذجاً للحس الإنساني ويرسم فيها مثالاً للإنسان.
لقد كانت فترة غربة وجهد وعمل هي أخصب العمر ولم يكن الشعر إلا على هامش دفتر الأعمال فيها، وكانت نهايتها ماض مضى وواقع محاط بضباب كثيف، وإن لكل تجربة ظروفها ولا خيار للشعر إلا أن ينقل التجربة، فالشعر تجربة حياة وتسجيل لمعاناة ورسالة إلى الحس الإنساني لتحري الإصلاح والتماس الجمال.
