هذه الدراسة هي محاولة أصيلة لإبراز نقطة الإلتقاء بين عناصر الحضارة الثلاثية (الدين أو القيم، والزمن، والإنسان). بدأ المؤلف بالمصطلح والعلوم الزمنية والدراسات الإسلامية، واهتم بالأصول العقيدية والتقنية والغايات والأهداف، ثم اقترح أصولاً تقنية من خلال فقه الأولويات والعقيدة وأصول الفقه. ثم اهتم بالبرنامج اليومي من خلال القرآن والسنة النبوية. وحلل إشكالية المصطلح العربي في الفكر الإسلامي وفي الدراسات الإسلامية الزمنية خصوصاً، ثم أحصى جملة العلوم التي لها علاقة عضوية بالبرمجة الزمنية، ثم حلل الدراسات الإسلامية في الزمن والوقت و.. و..
البحث –في مجمله- لا يخرج عن كونه عملاً تأصيلياً أولياً، سعى جهده الى التدليل على أن للبرمجة الزمنية أصولاً وجذوراً دينية، وثقافية، وحضارية، وليست مجرد عادات شكلية، أو تصرفات ظاهرية، وهذه بعينها هي الأطروحة التي يهدف الباحث الى إظهارها، والدفاع عنها.
