فبعد وصف الأعشاب والنباتات والتعريف بها وتحديد فوائدها، كان ضرورياً تصنيف الأمراض وذكر أسماء الأعشاب والخضار والفواكه والمقادير الضرورية منها التي تفيد في علاجها، وهناك عدد كبير من النباتات تستعمل للمرض الواحد، وقد ذكرناها جميعها لكي يستطيع القارئ، وحسب ما تؤمنه له بيئته من أنواع معينة من النباتات وتبعاً ولفصول السنة، فيختار منها ما يناسبه وما هو بمتناوله.
