يتضمن هذا الكتاب شرحاً لأحكام عقد الوكالة ، وهو عقد راسخ في القدم منذ عهد القانوني الروماني حتى يومنا هذا ، ولكنه دائم التطور والتجدد لأهمية موضوعه ، واعتماده من قبل أبناء البشر على مختلف مستوياتهم العليمة والثقافية ، تلبية لحاجاتهم الملحة وتسهيلاً للتعاقد فيما بينهم والضرورة الملحة للإستعانة برجال العلم والإختصاص كالمحامين وسواهم من رجال العلم والعمل الذين يساعدون أبناء المجتمع على تنفيذ أعمالهم بدقة وإتقان وبكل مسؤولية .
ولقد حاول المؤلف أن يجمع أحكام عقد الوكالة في كتاب واحد تسهيلاً للمطلعين على محتوياته ولكنه لم يتمكن من ذلك من جهة لتعدد أنواع الوكالات وتشعبها ومن جهة أخرى لوجوب التعمق في البحث تأميناً للمستوى المطلوب والمساعدة على إيجاد الحلول القانونية ، ما أدى إلى بحث عقد الوكالة في مجلدين ، هذا هو المجلد الأول منه الذي تضمن الأحكام العلامة لإنشاء عقد الوكالة وآثاره وانتهاءه ، كما يتضمن أنواعاً متعددة من عقد الوكالة .
أما المجلد الثاني فهو الطبع ويتضمن أنواعاً خاصة أخرى من عقد الوكالة ، كوكالة المحامي ، والوكالة غير قابلة للعزل ، والوكالة التجارية ، ووكالة العقود .
واعتمد المؤلف في هذا الكتاب طريقة البحث المقارن ، وتضمينه أحدث الآراء الفقهية واجتهادات المحاكم .
