إن تقدم كل أمة من الأمم ورقي كل شعب من الشعوب بكثرة الرجال البارزين بأحساسهم وشعورهم وتوفر مزايا أبطالهم المتميزين بكل صفة من صفات التقدم على حسب ملاءمة الأذواق وموافقة الطباع لكل عصر من العصور ووقت من الأوقات وفي كل زمن تظهر نفائس الأعمال.
لا تزال هذه الشخصيات الفذة مظاهر الفخامة والعظمة ومركز المجد والكرامة ومحور الآثار الكريمة، ولا تزال نفوس الأحرار منبع المآثر المحمودة الخالدة وينبوع السجايا والكرامات الباقية بعبات الأحقاب والدهور.
لقد كانوا فتية آمنوا بربهم وزادهم الله تعالى هدى ورضي لهم الشهادة خاتمة والجنة موئلاً، وبقوا في سفر التاريخ وسيرته صفحة مشرقة وضاءة.
رجالٌ سمت بهم الهمم الغالية إلى إقتحام الأهوال وهانت عليهم المخاطرة بالنفس والنفيس في سبيل حياة المجد التليد وأبقاء الذكر الجميل الخالد، فأستحسنوا التضحية بأنفس الأشياء عندهم وأغلاها وأجلها قدراً وأعلاها.
وما كان موكب رجال الحسين (عليه السلام) إلى كربلاء إلا موكب الشهادة يستحث الخطى إلى الجنة، يعبُد طريقها بالجسوم ويرصفها بالأرواح، ويبلل ثراها بالدماء الزكية.
وهلّم بنا لننظر إلى بعض تلك الشخصيات الكثيرة ووجوه من الوجوه والأعيان الملمح إليهم في طي كلام العلامة السماوي والمشار إليهم في كتابه الموسوم (أبصار العين في أنصار الحسين عليه وعليهم السلام).
