لقد ركزنا علي النقد الموجه لليبرالية الاقتصادية أكثر من عرض وشرح وتفصيل مذاهبها ونطرياتها ، وما دفعنا نحو إعطاء الأولوية لنقد أننا في أمس الحاجة إليه الآن ، ومن جهة أخري فإن الخطابة الليبرالية الجديدة السائدة في مجتمعنا وفي العالم كله ليست سوي التعبير العامي ، الإعلامي والمبتذل ، عن مباديء الليبرالية الاقتصادية ، وهذا ما يمكننا من تصغير الحيز العارض لهذه المباديء كي نعطي فرصة أكبر لتناول النقد ، وقد ركزنا علي الأعلام الشهيرة في مجال الليبرالية الاقتصادية ن إذ بدأنا ببداية الليبرالية في إنجلترا القرن السابع عشر ، ثم خصصنا فصلا لآدم سميث ، وىخر للاقتصاد السياسي النيوكلاسيكي ، وانتهينا بفريدريك هايك . وقد تلت هذه الموضوعات فصول أخري تناولنا فيها ابرز نقاد الليبرالية الاقتصادية عبر مسيرتها من سميث إلي هايك ، مثل دوركايم وفبلن وكارل بولاني .
