تتعلق هذه الدراسة بموضوع يكاد يكون مهملاً في الدراسات الإدارية التي يتم تناولها بالبحث والدراسة في جامعاتنا ومعاهدنا، وكذلك في العديد من اللقاءات العلمية والندوات التي تتناول الجوانب المتعددة للعلوم الإدارية والموضوعات الأخرى ذات العلاقة. ولتأكيد الإهتمام بهذا الموضوع- ولزيادة درجة التركيز عليه من قبل الباحثين والدراسين والمهتمين ولترسيخ الموقع المتميز للإستشارة افدارية كمهنة لها أخلاقياتها وفوائدها- كانت هذه الدراسة التي تجمع بين التأصيل العلمي لطبيعة الإستشارات ومكونتها، ومعطياتها البشرية والمادية والفنية، وبين الدراسة الميدانية لعينة متمثلو في بعض المنظمات (شركات) بمدينة طرابلس.
وقد تناولت البحث بالدراسة الميدانية واقع الإستغاثة بالإستشارات الإدارية في الشركات قيد الدراسة، وكذلك بيان وتحديد اتجاهات القيادات نحو اسلوب الإستعانة بالإستشارات في الممارسات الإدارية المختلفة بهذه الشركات، وايضاً بيان أثر بعض المتغيرات ذات العلاقة بهذه الإتجاهات.
