أحمد محمد محمد سويلم (ولد في بيلا، بمحافظة كفر الشيخ، مصر سنة 1942) هو شاعر مصري، حصل على جائزة الدولة التقديرية في الآداب سنة 2016.
حياته
حصل سويلم على بكالوريوس التجارة 1966م، وهو يعمل مديراً للنشر في دار المعارف وأستاذاً غير متفرغ لمادة أدب الأطفال في كلية التربية بجامعة حلوان. عضو لجنة الشعر بالمجلس الأعلى للثقافة ومجلس إدارة اتحاد الكتاب واتحاد الأدباء ونقابة الصحفيين.

يقدم هذا الكتاب سياحة ممتعة من نوادر العرب التي سجلها الشعراء منذ العصر الجاهلي حتى يومنا هذا، سواء أكان الشعراء هم أبطالها أم غيرهم.
ومن ثم كانت صعوبة هذه الزاوية التي تقتصر على إلتقاط تلك المواقف الساخرة أو المضحكة، التي يعبّر عنها بأبيات من الشعر فحسب، وكيف إستطاع الشاعر أن يترجم هذا الموقف، أو هذا السلوك، أو هذا المظهر في شعره، فكانت قصيدته أو أبياته علماً على الظرف والضحك والفكاهة.
إنها سياحة تسجل لهذه الأمة صفحات من روحها المرحة، قد تكون غائبة أو حاضرة بقلة من تاريخ الشاعر العربي، لكن لا يلتفت بها بالرغم من أنها تعطي دلالات كبيرة لفهم المجتمع العربي، والإنسان العربي خلال مسيرته الطويلة!...
ونذكر هناك بعض ما قيل من أفواه الشعراء في الأدب الساخر فتظهر براعة الشاعر الحطيئة في هجاء الخلقة، حيث حشد في ديوانه صوراً كثيرة من هذا اللون الساخر، حتى إنه قال عن نفسه: أبَتْ شَفَتَايَ اليوم أن تتكلَّما... بسُوءٍ فما أدري لمن أنا قَائِلُهُ... أرى لي وجهاً شوَّه الله خَلْقَهُ... فَقُبِّحَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ... وَقُبِّحَ حامِلُهْ"...
وللحطيئة هجاء طريف ساخر قاله في ضيف نزل به، يقول فيه: "وسَلَّمَ مرَّتَيْنِ... فقلتُ مهلاً... كفتكَ المرةُ الأولى السلامَا... ونقنقَ بطنُه ودعا رؤاساً... لما قد نال من شِبَعٍ ونامَا"...
