وفكر هذا الأستاذ في دراسة وعلاج هذه النقطة وهي "الحاجة إلى الحب"، وكون على الفور فصلاً دراسياً أو حلقة دراسية اختيارية ينضم إليها من يشاء من الطلبة، ولا تحسب نتائجها في الدرجات النهائية، الهدف منها دراسة فكرة "الحب"، ومن حصيلة مجهوداته ومجهودات الطلبة طوال ثلاث سنوات جاء هذا الكتاب.
