"تعالَ..." لكنه تجاهل نداءها الباهت له، استكمل الركض بقدميه الملوثتين بالطين، ولم تفارق وجهه علامات النزق الطفولي. لطخ الشغب على وجنتيه، لسانه يداعب شفته العليا خلال إنهاكه باللعب، أصابعه الرشيقة الصغيرة تصل إلى كل التفاصيل، وملابسه المنكمشة المنتزعة اللون لا تعون إشتراكه في كل مشروع بين صغار الحي، أو حتى مع من يكبرونه سناً، لكن كان من عاداته أن يتجاهل نداءها، ومن طقوسها إدّعاء اللحاق به. عيناها تتنقلان بين مراقبته وبين تتبع الوجوه العابرة، تبحث بينها عن "بهاء"، دون حياء من جذور الحي التي تهتز تحت وقع خطواتها، والتي تقرأ - كما كل الطبيعة - ما يراودها القلب عنه. عيناها تتجاهلان جلبابها الواسع، الذي حاولت سابقاً تحديد تفاصيلها من خلال تدريج تضييقه حتى لا يشعر الآخرون بفجائية بروز مفاتنها، تتنقل بخمرة بشرتها، تبحث عن طيفه الذي احتفظت به ذاكرة اللهفة، تلك التي يعرفها بنات حيها، النافيات على الحلم باليافع عن شباب المدينة من زوار الإستكشاف... تبحث عنه حيث اعتاد احتساء الشاي في مقهى السياح عند ناصية الشارع الرئيسي لحيهم، بين الأجساد المتزاحمة عند مدخل أحد المتاحف، او عند بوابة الفندق الذي قطن أحد أجنحته، رغم نفور دمعة ساخنة يتيمة من عينها، تقاوم الألم بجلد... وترسم ابتسامة قلقة حين يجيء أخوها الصغير ملبياً نداءها، لا لشيء سوى الجوع الذي يهزمه، فتضطر للعودة، فبهاءً.... لا تراه كأحداث ومشاهد تشكل قصصاً إنسانية ربما كانت جزءاً من حياتنا... وربما كانت قصة كل واحد منا نحن القراء، ولكن نقرأها بعبارات كاتبتها المزينة بالجمال، ونراها بعينها... بعين الخيال.
