الرواية تطرح مسألة الهوية وتثير كماً من الأسئلة عن الذات والآخر، الهوية والانتماء. والرواية كتبت بأسلوب يعكس قدرة الكاتبة على توجيه الأحداث ورسم تفاصيل الشخصيات التي تتحرك بتلقائية ولكن وفق رؤية مشهدية تمكنت خلالها هبة بو خمسين من الإمساك بتفاصيل دقيقة تطال عمق هذه الشخصيات لتسبر غور أبطالها الذيني متون إلى الواقع بصلة وثيقة وهم يتحركون يومياً في مجتمعات شبيهة بمجتمع هبة بو خمسين.
كيف يرتكز الكون على كتف صديق؟!
وتضيع الوجوه، أقنعتها، الابتسامات والتلون كله حين يصل صوته مداعباً. أحبه! ببساطة دقة القلب وبتفاصيلها الأعقد، بالدمعة تعلق على طرف الرمش وتسقط مع ارتعاشة اللهفة العاصفة بغتة بصمتي.
كيف يجرؤون على سرقة أحلامنا؟ ألا يعلمون أن مع كل انكسارة قلب يهتز عرش الله، ومع كل جرح يطال امرأة في نبضها تتداخل مدارات الكون؟!
ذاك مساء ما استطعت ترتيب حقائب سفري خلاله، ككل التقاء بعادل، نفترق على محبة ويغص ليلي بغربة تهبط مثقلة بجراح البحر، تجمع الحزن، تزداد اسوداداً، وحين الدمع تسحبها الريح بعيداً عن جفافي.. الوقت بخيل على فرحي!
