هذة نسخة في أحاديث طالوت بن عباد البصري الصيرفي المتوفى سنة 238هـ. قال الإمام الذَّهبيُّ: "طالوت بن عَباد ... له نسخة مشهورة عالية". يقول المحقق في مقدمة الكتاب: "وهذا الجزء من أحاديث طالوتَ بنِ عبادٍ الصيرفيِّ البصريِّ مما لا أعلم أن أحداً حققه وطبعه ونشره, ولذا أقدمت على تحقيقه وتخريج أحاديثه، عسى أن يستفيد منه طلابُ علمِ الحديث فائدةً. وهذا الجزء عالي الإسناد؛ كما سوف ترونه، مما يدعو طلابَ العلمِ إلى الاهتمام به".
