شريف الشوباشي: كاتِبٌ ومُفكِّرٌ مِصْريٌّ تَنْويرِي، لَهُ العَدِيدُ مِنَ المُؤلَّفات، تُرجِمَ بعْضُها إِلى الفَرنسيَّةِ والإِيطاليَّة.
وُلِدَ شريف الشوباشي عامَ ١٩٤٦م، وحصَلَ عَلى لِيسانسِ الآدَاب، قِسْمِ اللُّغةِ الفَرنسيَّةِ عامَ ١٩٦٧م. عمِلَ مُحرِّرًا وصَحفِيًّا بعِدَّةِ جِهاتٍ ووَسائِلَ إِعْلاميَّة، مِثْل: مَجلَّةِ المُصوَّر، وتَولَّى رِئاسةَ تَحْريرِ مَجلَّةِ «أَخْبار اليُونِيسكو»، وشَغَلَ مَنْصِبَ مُدِيرِ مَكْتبِ الأَهْرامِ بباريس، ووَكِيلٍ أوَّلَ بوِزارةِ الثَّقافةِ المِصْريَّة، وأَمِينٍ عامٍّ لِاتِّحادِ كُتَّابِ أَفْريقيا وآسيَا وأَمريكا اللَّاتِينيَّة.
صَدَرَ لَه العَدِيدُ مِنَ المُؤلَّفاتِ باللُّغةِ العَرَبيَّة، وتُرجِمَ عَملٌ واحِدٌ مِنْها إِلى الفَرنسيَّةِ وآخَرُ إِلى الإِيطاليَّة، بالإِضافةِ إِلى عِدَّةِ رِواياتٍ ومَسْرحيَّاتٍ ومَجْموعاتٍ قِصَصيَّة، مِنْها: «الشَّيْخ عَبْد الله» وهِيَ مَجْموعةُ قِصصٍ قَصِيرةٍ حُوِّلَتِ القِصَّةُ الأَساسيَّةُ بِها إِلى فِيلمٍ سِينمائيٍّ بعُنوانِ «بَطَل مِنَ الجَنُوب»، وَ«لَنْ تَسقُطَ أورشليم» مَسْرحيَّةٌ عُرِضَتْ عَلى المَسْرحِ القَوْمِي، و«نِهايَة التَّفكِير» دِراسةٌ فِكْريَّة، و«لِتَحْيا اللُّغَةُ العَرَبيَّة: يَسْقُط سِيبوَيْه»، و«ثَوْرة المَرْأة» دِراسَةٌ فِكْريَّة.
حَصلَ الشوباشي عَلَى عِدَّةِ أَوْسمةٍ دَوْليَّةٍ رَفِيعة، مِنْها: وِسامُ الاسْتِحقاقِ الرَّسْمِيُّ الكَبِيرُ لجُمْهوريَّةِ إِيطاليا، ووِسامُ الفُنُونِ والآدَابِ برُتْبةِ ضَابِطٍ مِن جُمْهوريَّةِ فرنسا، ووِسامُ الاسْتِحقاقِ الخَاصُّ مِن جُمْهوريَّةِ روسيا الاتِّحادِيَّة.
Book Description
يجسد هذا الكتاب صرخة غاضبة لتخليص العقل العربي من هيمنة الأصنام الفكرية الجاثمة عليه بأفكارها البالية منذ قرون. وهو محاولة جديدة لتفسير ظاهرة تأخر العقل العربي بعد أن ظل لقرون طويلة مشعلا مضيئا للحضارة الإنسانية. والمنهج الذي اختاره المؤلف هو العودة إلي الجذور لإلقاء الضوء علي ظواهر نتصور أنها وليدة اليوم مع أنها نتاج لتراكم ثقافي وسلوكي عبر التاريخ العربي الإسلامي. ويخلص المؤلف إلي أنه طالما وقفنا خاشعين أمام أصنام الماضي ونحرنا علي مذابحها قرابين العقول، ستظل أبواب التقدم مغلقة أمامنا. فلن يتقدم العقل العربي إلا.. بتحطيم الأصنام.
