هذا توضيح القاصد والمسالك بشرح ألفية ابن مالك للمرادى المعروف بابن قاسم المتوفى عام 749هـ.
وفى هذا الشرح ظهرت شخصية ابن قاسم واضحة جلية دلت على قدرته وحصافة رأيه وتجلت فيه مواهبه وأفكاره.
ولاشك أنه شرح أوفى على الغاية ويمتاز بالدقة والسهولة, وإيضاحه لآراء النحاة ومذاهبهم.
وقد أرشد المؤلفين من بعده, لأن عنايته كانت متجهة إلى إيضاح ألفية ابن مالك وتبيان مقصودها.
فكان هذا الشارح مدداً لمن بعده من شراح الألفية ومصدراً وثيقاً لدى النحويين, وقد استمد منه المؤلفين خير ما يؤلفون.
وقد حققت من أول هذا الكتاب إلى باب الإضافة نلت بهذا القسم درجة العالمية "الدكتوراه" مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى.
ثم حققت باقى الكتاب وجعلته قسمين:
القسم الأول : الدراسة:
ويقوم على ثلاث أبواب:
الباب الأول: عصر ابن قاسم, ويشتمل على فصلين, الباب الثانى: حياة ابن مالك وابن أم قاسم ويشتمل على أربعة فصول. الباب الثالث: موقف المؤلف من ابن مالك وما يعتمد عليه, ويضم أربعة فصول.
والقسم الثانى" التحقيق:
ويحتوى على تحقيق "توضيح المقاصد والمسالك بشرح ألفية ابن مالك للمرادى المعروف بابن أم قاسم, فقد حققت هذا الكتاب وثقته وضبطت شواهده, وشرحتها ونسبتها إلى أصحابها, وخرجت الأحاديث وشرحت ما صعب منها, وعرفت بالأعلام التى وردت فى النص, وعلقت عليه, وقد أبرزت محاسنه وأظهرت مناقبه, ولاحظت أن المرادى فى شرحه اعتمد كثيراً على ابن مالك. وأعتقد أن المكتبة العربية فى أمس الحاجة إلى هذا الكتاب الذى يعد من أهم المراجع فى إحياء التراث العربى.
