يضم الكتاب مجموعة من النصوص الادبية النثرية والتى تصفها سماح بانها نصوص انثوية بامتياز، تتنوع بين الحكائية، والقصة القصيرة، والمقال الفنيّ والرسالة الادبية؛ التى تحمل فى احشائها مضمونًا "بناتيًّا" على لسان انثي، من انثى والى شيءٍ يخص الانثى او الى انثى اخرى احيانًا..فجميعها تحمل النكهة الانثوية سواء كانت لحبيب حميم او صديقة مقربة، لمارقٍ لئيمٍ او حلمٍ خفيّ، او حتى امرأة سيئة، وسواء كان مخضبًا بالام وهموم او مزينًا باحلامٍ وامال، او حوى مواقف عابرة او فاقعة فى حياة الانثي.
تجد الكاتبة أن الأنثى البطلة في كتابها ملكة ومن حقها أن تخبئ كل تلك الأشياء في مكانٍ تراه الأكثر أمانًا على ما يخصها، فأودعتها تاجها (الشعر/ الضفيرة) وغرزتها كدبابيس الزينة في تعريجات ضفيرتها، وتوضح في مقدمة كتابها ما يحويه الكتاب تحت عنوان "تلك ليست بمقدمةٍ أبدًا: تلك هي شلالاتُ الدمّ المندفقِ أملا مرة، وألما مراتٍ، ووشاياتُ قلبٍ مزدحمٍ بالأسئلة، خطراتٌ وحكاياتٌ مثبتة كدبابيس الزينة في تعريجات ضفيرة (تاء) شبه تائهة!" بينما لم تهد كتابها لأحد معين ولها أسبابها الخاصة حيث تقول: "لأنّ الدهشة التي تليق بأنثى الغرور.. لم تخلق بعد! حلفتُ أن أؤثث قصر عاج يليق بانتظارها المهيب صمتا وجلالا.. ولم أجرؤ أن أهدي!".
لا أنا صانعة الحب، ولا أتقن إلا استحضاره "سقاء للروح" لما أكون أمامك.. فأملك حاسة الإكتمال البشري التي تمنحني إياها هيبة حضورك، ولا أنت عابر اضاف إسمه في قائمة، بل "متجذر أزلي أبدي متفرد" تشغل اربعة أرباع القائمة، تتربع في مقدمتها والعنون. وتتمدد عبر حشوها وحدك، وتغلق الأبد في نهايتها والتذييل. وتغلفها أنت. فيا سري العظيم. لا الحديث ينتهي ولا قصتي لها ختام..
