أقمت بالجماهيرية العربية الليبية منذ عام 1997 كعضو هيئة تدريس بقسم اللغة العربية بكلية الآداب والعلوم أو بارى - جامعة سبها. وقمت بتدريس الأدب الحديث والمعاصر بقسم اللغة العربية والأقسام الأخرى وكانت لي مشاركات في الندوات والأنشطة الثقافية بالجامعة، وتجمعت لدى مادة حول القصة القصيرة والرواية، ورأيت أن أجمع هذه المادة فى كتاب يكون بين يدي القارئ والدراس للأدب العربي الليبي الحديث والمعاصر وذلك بعنوان ( دراسات في القصة والرواية الليبية) وشملت هذه الدراسة ( أحمد إبراهيم الفقة والإبداع القصصى ، والإبداع القصصي عند معمر القذافى ، والواقع الاجتماعى والنفسى في قصص عبد الله القويري) وفى مجال الرواية ( واقع الصحراء في رواية حقول الرماد لأحمد إبراهيم الفقية أدب الصحراء في روايات إبراهيم الكوني).
