يضم الديوان ثلاثون قصيدة في الشعر الموزون المقفى والشعر العربي الحديث نذكر من العناوين: "بداياتي"، "الإثم"، "المأتم"، "روح ولا إنسان"، "الضياع للمرة الثانية"، "ذنبير"، "بين التولع والتمنع... الخ
في قصيدة بعنوان (الإثم) يقول الغامدي: "يحبوني من وراء الهم وهم... وشعور مستفيض ماله اسم لست أدري بعد ما داخلني ... كلما خبأت هماً فار هم كلما أطلقتُ عيني انحنت... وتغشاني سكوت مدلهمُ (...)"
