هذا هو العاشر من سلسلة السؤالات في الجرح والتعديل وعلل الحديث، وهو يحمل عنوان:" سؤالات أبى بكر الأثرم ، أبا عبد الله أحمد بن حنبل" وهو جزء فريد نادر من محفوظات دار الكتب الظاهرية بدمشق - حرسها الله من الشرور. وأصل كتاب " سؤالات أبي بكر الأثرم للإمام أحمد بن حنبل - رضى الله عنه - مفقود، عدا هذا الجزء الذي بصدد تحقيقه، فلما رأيت عشرات النصوص المروية عن الإمام أبي بكر الأثرم، عن الإمام أبي عبد الله أحمد بن حنبل متناثرة في بطون الكتب جمعتها، وذيلت بها هذا الجزء لتكون متممة للكتاب. وهذا من قبيل جمع ما اندثر من كنوز تراثنا العظيم. ورتبته على حروف الهجاء ليكون أسهل للناظر، وأقرب للباحث، والحمدلله رب العالمين.
