نظرًا للآثار السلبية للفساد الاقتصادي واتساع نطاقه في السنوات الأخيرة في كل الدول خاصة الدول النامية، فقد دفع ذلك الباحثين على اختلاف مناهجهم إلى بحث أسبابه، وأشكاله، وآثاره الاقتصادية، ووضع الحلول العلمية لعلاجه والقضاء عليه، وإذا كان رجال الفكر الاقتصادي الوضعي قد اهتموا بهذه الظاهرة، فإن الفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي قد عني عناية فائقة بموضوع الفساد بصفة عامة، والفساد الاقتصادي بصفة خاصة، ونحن نتناول هذا الموضوع أتناول بداية مفهوم الفساد بصفة عامة، ثم أتناول مفهوم الفساد الاقتصادي لدى الباحثين والمؤسسات الدولية، ومفهومه من وجهة نظر المتخصصين في الاقتصاد الإسلامي، ثم أعرض لبيان أسباب الفساد الاقتصادي لدى كل من الفكر الاقتصادي الوضعي، والفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي، وبعد ذلك أتناول أشكال الفساد الاقتصادي في الفكر الاقتصادي الوضعي والفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي، ثم أتناول بعد ذلك الآثار الاقتصادية للفساد الاقتصادي، ثم أعرض لآليات مكافحة الفساد الإقتصادي ومنهج الشريعة الإسلامية في مكافحته، وفي النهاية تكون الخاتمة لبيان أهم نتائج البحث، والتوصيات التي يراها الباحث.
