قيل لي: من يعمل في السياسة يدخل تجربة السلطة والمال، لم أشك في ذلك أبداً، إنما كانت على ثقة أن الله تعالى لن يخذلني وأن ثقتي بنفسي لن تميت ما نشأت عليه من أخلاق عالية وقيم سامية.
الحمد لله، أكملت مسيرتي على ما نشأت عليه من صدق وإخلاص، خرجت من السياسة بضمير مرتاح بعدما أدّيت واجبي أمام الله تعالى والناس والوطن".
