"مثل شفرة سكين" هو الإصدار الثالث للشاعرة "نجاة علي" من مصر، بعد أن صدر لها "كائن خرافي في غاية الثرثرة" و"بلاغة المفارقة في قصص يوسف إدريس القصيرة " فكانت إطلالتها الثالثة في هذا الديوان عكست فيه على التهكم، وبرأيها "لأنه يصلح ليكون إستراتيجية خاصة لمشاهدة العالم، ويسمح لي بالوقوف على مسافة من الأشياء والعلاقات ورؤيتها بعمق ومن زوايا متعددة. أن تسخر من شيء فمعناه ببساطة، أنك تحدث مسافة بينك وبينه". تقول في قصيدة "ورود من أجل الحمقى الطيبين": أظنك جئت في/ القرن السادس عشر/ وإلا لماذا أسرفت/ في النيل؟/ تدربت اليوم/ بما يكفر على الشر/ لذا سأزيح بهدوء/ آثار إبتسامتك الطيبة… هذا وتحتوي هذه المجموعة الشعرية الرائعة على ما يزيد عن خمسة عشرة قصيدة كتبت بقلم شاعرة مرهفة الإحساس في نقد لاذع إستخدمت فيه أسلوب السخرية، فكانت من الشعراء المعاصرين الذين أضافوا جديداً على الشعر.
