لاحظت منذ أعوام سابقة وإلى الان أن دراسة آلة الكمان العربي داخل معاهدنا وخارجها مقصورة على حفظ البشارف والسماعيات فقط. وهناك بعض أساتذة هذه الآلة يمهدون لدراسة هذه المقطوعات بإعطاء تمارين مبتكرة من ذاكرتهم مع ما فيها من تباين واختلاف في الشكل وفي القاعدة فيصبح الأمر عبارة عن تطبيق قبل دراسة. ولعل هذا راجع إلى عدم وجود نهج دراسي سليم تسير عليه دراسة هذا النوع من الآلات لتفهمه ومعرفة الطرق الخاصة لتدريسه. لذلك قد بدا لي ان أسهم على قدر مجهودي لأحاول إستكمال النقص الموجود في موسيقانا للنهوض والسير بها في ركب التطور الحضاري في موسيقى العالم ، ولذلك قمت بتأليف هذا الكتاب الدراسي ( ميتود) عربي لآلة الكمان على غرار أفردت لكل صف دراسي كتابا فيه من التمرينات وطرق الآداء ما يناسبة ويلائم مستواه.
