أرصفة شاحبة تبيع كفوف أطفال تنادي على الجوع: تعال وقل للقادمين هذه افواه ضاحكة، قمصان جفّت على مواسم الفقر ومازالت تبيع ازرارها! عربات من البخار تردد تحايا الصباح ثم تتعثر ببهجة المساء، سربٌ من الظلام له ظل يشبه لباس عجوز تشتري الضوء من المقابر يجوب الليل بصفير يصغي لرنينه، رجلٌ يغني في اخر ركن من الضياع يتمرجح بحبل يسقط من السماء ويصرخ حفيده: انه يتبخر، البيوت تنتظر كذبة الفجر لتلملم جدرانها لترتبها بشكل دقيق ثم تحزمها قرب اول مصباح ينطفىء، اوتحت اخر عمود يزوع النهار، هذه المدينة لازال سكانها يسافرون بالسحب، سحبٌ تأخذ منهم واخرى تأتي لهم بالغرباء، ولازالوا يثقون بالرياح اكثر من ساعاتهم الالكترونية، كلما تأخر سفرهم تجمعوا بين الاقواس، كيف تُفرق الرياح بين السيوف والاقواس؟!
