وفي هذا الكتاب نحاول أن نرصد أشهر وأخطر الجرائم الغامضة فى القرن الحادي والعشرين، جرائم روعت العالم، او صدمت ضمير الإنسانية، بسبب ما تضمنته من مآس، وما خلفته من ضحايا، وما تولد عنها من صدمة للجميع.
من هذه الجرائم اغتيالات سياسية بشعة، شهدها العالم شرقه وغربه، ولم يتم التوصل لمرتكبيها، ومذابح رهيبة لم يعرف منفذها، ومن ثم لم تطله يد العدالة، رغم استصراخ أرواح الضحايا، وأنات ذويهم، وجرائم أخرى تتعلق بمخلوقات أو أشباح غامضة تظهر فى بعض الأماكن، واشكال وصور أخرى لجرائم اختلفت فى ملابساتها، وهوية مرتكبيها وضحاياهم، ولكن خيطاً واحداً جمع بينها جميعاً وهو الغموض الذي اكتنفها جميعها لتقيد فى النهاية ضد مجهول!!
