والذى دفعني إلى عقد مقارنة بين إيليا أبي ماضي، وعلي محمود طه المهندس هو ما انتهيت إليه من أنهما يمثلان شخصيتين مختلفتين في الشعر العربي المعاصر، وبأن دراستهما ربما تهيئ لذهن القارئ صورة لاتجاهين مختلفين في الشعر التجديدي.
