حرر وأصدر (إيليا أبو ماضي) عدداً من الصحف والمجلات، وأسس مجلة (السمير) اليومية في نيويورك كما أنه أصدر ثلاثة دواوين (الجداول) (الخمائل) (ديوان إيليا أبو ماضي) أحد أبرز أعضاء الرابطة القلمية بالإضافة إلى (جبران خليل جبران ) و (ميخائيل نعيمة) وغيرهم.
نهل شاعرنا من مصادر الشرق والغرب ففي شعره شكوك المعري ولهو أبي نواس فيه تجديد عباقرة الغرب إلا إن كل ذلك كان يضيع في اتساع ذاته وأصالته، وكونه شاعر فكرة يبني القصيدة حول فكرة يريد إيصالها للمتلقي...
