استشهد الدرة.. فصارت كل شاعرة عربية أما له .. تنعى الحبيب الشهيد .. وتذرف عليه دموع الحزن الساخنة.. وتستشرف يوم لقائه، وتتوعد قاتلية بالانتقام.. باستشهاد هذا الطفل البرئ.. استيقظت كوامن الأمومة فى نفوس الشاعرات العربيات، فانطلقن يعبرن عن قضية فلسطين التى مثل موت الدرة حدثاً محوريا فى تاريخها. والكتاب فى الأصل أطروحة علمية نال بها الباحث درجة الماجستير بتقدير ممتاز عام 2005 من قسم اللغة العربية، بكلية معارف الوحى والعلوم الإنسانية بالجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا، وهذا الكتاب تحليل نقدى لقصائد (16)من الشاعرات العربيات فى غوض واحد، هو رثاء الشهيد محمد الدرة، قام به الناقد أنس حسام النعيمة الذى رصد فى هذه القصائد روح الأمومة ومعانى البطولة والفداء والحزن على حال الأمة، والنقمة على ذوى الشأن فيها ، والتطلع إلى المستقبل فى أمة جديرة بالنهوض من جديد.
