هذا هو المجلد الرابع من موسوعة "مصر والقضية الفلسطينية" الذي يشمل خمسة محاور؛ المحور الأول يتناول أوضاع مصر العامة قبل حرب 1967م اقتصاديًا واجتماعيًّا وسياسيًّا وعسكريًّا. والمحور الثاني يبيّن كيف ركز العمل السياسي على حلِّ المشكلة الفلسطينية من خلال عرض دور التنظيم السياسي ومجلس الأمة والدبلوماسية المصريّة. والمحور الثالث يتناول دور الإعلام والفن والأدب في دعم القضية الفلسطينية، ويأتي المحور الرابع متناولاً الموقف العربي والأفريقي من القضية الفلسطينية وأثر مصر فيه، وأخيرًا يتناول المحور الخامس موقف دول العالم من القضية الفلسطينية وردود فعل مصر تجاهه.
وكما تم في المجلدات الثلاثة السابقة حرصت اللجنة العلمية التي قامت بإعداد الموسوعة على كتابة الموضوع برؤية تحليلية نقدية، كما حرصت على تقديم إضافات عديدة إلى تاريخ مصر والقضية الفلسطينية.
