هذا الكتاب هو إضافة قيمة فيما قدمه الأستاذ/ محمد غريب عبد العزيز فى مجال النقل البحرى والحاويات إلى المكتبة العربية. ومن إستعراض فصول الكتاب نجد أنها تناولت بعمق النقل البحرى من حيث التحديات التى تواجهه وعلى الأخص فى ظل منظمة التجارة العالمية، والسفينة وأنواعها ومشارطات إيجار السفن والتأجير التمويلى وسفن الحاويات ومقومات موانى سفن الحاويات ومحطات وأرصفة الحاويات. وضرب أمثلة لمحطة حاويات بورسعيد ومحطة حاويات دمياط، كما تعرض الباحث لشحن وتفريغ بضائع الوارد والصادر وبضاعة الترانزيت الأقطرية وأخيراً تناول النقل متعدد الوسائط ومستندات البضائع. والجدير بالذكر أن الباحث أضاف العديد من أحكام محكمة النقض بما يمثل مرشداً هادياً لرجال النقل البحرى والمحامين والقضاة والباحثين. وقد ختم بحثه بتناول معاهدة بروكسل لسنة 1934 والعواريات التى تصيب البضائع ثم قانون النقل الدولى متعدد الوسائط وقواعد الأنكو تيرمز 35/1990.
