فالكاتب وهو شاعر وأديب من المغرب، يبدو مسحوراً بالأسماء التي سيجد لها صوراً، ومجسمات يقف عليها خلال تجواله اليومي في بيروت وصيدا وطرابلس وعكار وبعلبك، وغيرها من المدن والبلدات التي زارها.
فلبنان بالنسبة إليه فضاء جمالي وإنساني وتاريخي لطالما حضر في القصيدة، والأغنية والفيلم، وحضر في الحرب الأهلية التي غذت مخيلات الأدباء العرب يصور عن جحيم الإقتتال الأهلي، والصراع الفكري والطائفي.
والإجتياح الإسرائيلي الذي سكن ذاكرة العرب، بوقائعه البطولية والمأسوية معاً، سوف يكون الوقوف على آثاره حدثاً إستثنائياً للكاتب، فالخيم الفلسطيني بالنسبة إلى صاحب اليوميات وكذا مخيم اللجوء السوري، ومآسي الهروب من الموت في سوريا إلى تحدي المذلة في لبنان، لا يغيبان وراء شغف الكاتب في زيارة مغارة جعيتا، أو قصر بيت الدين، أو غيرها من المعالم الطبيعية الخلابة والمعمارية ذات التاريخ.
