يبحث الكتاب في أربعة مواضيع و يلقي الضوء عليها وهي: باطن الإثم الأخطر الأكبر في حياة المسلمين. ويتضمن توضيحا لكل من, الباطن والظاهر أو الديانة والقضاء, الخطر الأكبر, منبع هذا الخطر, من نتائج هذا الخطر, وهذا هو العلاج, والسبيل إلى استعمال العلاج, ولا تعنينا التسميات, والتصوف الأخلاقي والتصوف الوجداني, ومشكلتنا أخلاقية وليست فكرية, والخلاصة, وفلنفترق على عهد. الإنسان وعدالة الله في الأرض, ويتضمن, هل السائل مؤمن بالله, ما معنى المحنة, وسبيلان لا ثالث لهما, وسر هذا كله, ينبوع التكاليف والمشتقات, والذين لا يفهمون الإسلام, لا عبرة بعرض الدنيا, على أي أساس يتنوع الابتلاء؟, منطق العبودية, ومنطق الحب, وخلاصة القول. ومنهج تربوي فريد في القرآن: ويتحدث عن: أساس المنهج التربوي في القرآن, والمحاكمة العقلية, القصص والتاريخ, الإثارة الوجدانية, وبعد... ومن أسرار المنهج الرباني وفيه: الدين والأمانة, الرفق بالأخذ بأحكام الدين, وليس من شأن المسلم أن يحقر أخاه, ومن مظاهر بر الوالدين, الدعاء مخ العبادة, ومن آداب الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر, والتحلي بالذهب, وعن الكاسيات العاريات.
