ولكن شعبنا العربي الأبي تصدي لهم بإمكاناته المتواضعة وعزيمته التي لا تلين ولقنهم دروساً لن ينسوها، وكان ذلك على طرفي الحدود بين سورية وفلسطين تلاحماً عضوياً بين السكان العرب السوريين والفلسطينيين في مقارعة هذا الغزو والعدوان، وتعاوناً على تقديم العون والدعم لشعبنا المنكوب في فلسطين الحبيبة.
