إن الشيء الهام الذي يمكن لقارئ الكتاب أن يلحظه في سرد المؤلف لحياة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم هو تشديده على قيمة التحاور مع الآخر بهدف فهمه بدلاً من التعارض معه، لذلك نجد جورجيو قد أفلح كثيراً في إبعاد الأفكار والأحكام المسبقة عن ذهنه وهو يكتب سيرة محمد الشخصية والدعوية بما فيها حروبه وانتصاراته ودوره في نشر الدين. فبدا لنَا وهو الكاهن المسيحي مؤمناً برسالة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كنموذج عالمي فيه خلاص البشرية من حمقها وتعنتها تجاه الأديان والحضارات الأخرى على مرَ التاريخ.
