إن الغرض من هذا الكتاب هو جمع وتبسيط أسس أهم الفروع الهندسية الصحية وهي هندسة إمداد المدن بالمياه وهندسة الصرف الصحي للمخلفات السائلة- تبسيطًا ييسر على القارئ سبل الإلمام بأهم نظرياتها وأسس تصميمها وتشغيلها.
