كنت في سنوات سابقة قد القيت دروساًَ في الدعوة والتبليغ في الإسلام في الحوزة العلمية -معهد الرسول الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم للشريعة والدراسات الإسلامية من طلبة العلوم الدينية. وقد تضمنت هذه الدروس جملة من الأبحاث المتعلقة بالموضوع المذكور معتمداً في ذلك بشكل خاص على آيات الكتاب العزيز وروايات السنة المعصومية الشريفة، مستمداً منها ما يفيد في المقام، مع الاستعانة ببعض المصادر التي تحدثت عن هذا الموضوع وما يرتبط به وينسجم معه.
ثم بدا لي أن أخرج هذه الدروس إلى حيز الوجود المطبعي، فاستخرت الله تعالى، وقمت بمراجعة دقيقة لهذه الدروس، فأعدت صياغة بعض أبحاثها، وأكملت ما كان ناقصاً منها، وضبطتها فصولاً، وفي ضمن الفصول أبحاثاً متعددة فكانت سبعة فصول بالتمام، مع مقدمة أوضحت فيها معنى الدعوة والتبليغ لغة واصطلاحاً.
