قيل قديماً: "أعذبُ الشعرِ أكْذَبه"، وأقول اليوم: "أعذبُ الشِّعر الغزلُ"، وأجْمَلُ الغَزَل، أو من أجمل ما فيه، ذاك الذي ينقل حديث المحِبِّين، وفيه قُلْتُ وقالتْ، او قلتُ فأجابتني، أو قالتْ فأجبتُها، ونحو ذلك.
وقد اهتمّ علماء البيان، بهذا النوع من الغزل أو الجِوار، فأفردوه بالبحث، وسمّوه "التَّرجيع"، أو "التَّرجيع في المحاورة"، أو "المُراجعة"، وعرَّفوه بأنّه "عبارة عن أن يحكي المتكلّم مراجعة في القول ومحاورة جرت بينه وبين غيره بأوجز عبارة وأخصر لفظ، فينزل في البلاغة أحسن المنزل وأعجب المواقع"، أو "هو أن يحكي المتكلِّم مراجعة في القول، ومحاورة في الحديث جرت بينه وبين غيره، أو بين اثنين غيره بأوجز عبارة، وأرشق سبْك، وأسهل ألفاظ، إمّا في بيت واحد، أو في أبيات، أو جملة واحدة".
وشُغِفْتُ، منذ سنوات عديدة، بجمع المقطوعات الغزلية التي تتضمَّن هذا النوع من البيان، حتَّى تحصَّل لديّ منها العشرات، فرتَّبتها بحسب الأعصر الأدبية المتعاقبة، ثمّ رتَّبت شعراء كل عصر بحسب تواريخ وفياتهم، ورتبت الشعراء المعاصرين بحسب تواريخ ولاداتهم، ثمّ هذَّبت ما جمعت، واخترت ممّا تحصَّل لديّ من قصائد ما أرى أنَّه أجملها، فإذا بكتابي هذا الذي بين يديك، أيُّها القارئ العزيز، آملاً أن تتمتَّع به كما تمتَّعْت، وهل هناك أجمل لمن يهوى الشِّعر من التمتُّع بالغزل العفيف؟.
