ويقدم الكتاب في أحد فصوله نصائح حول كيفية اختيار الصديق ، وكذلك والشروط الواجب توافرها في الصديق ، بصفة عامة يعتبر الكتاب دليلا للشباب يساعدهم على تعميق مفهوم الصداقة لديهم وفي اختيار الصديق.
إن الصداقة مثلها في ذلك مثل القيم ، تتأثر بالتغيرات التى تحدث في المجتمع فيصيبها الضغف حينا ثم تسترد قوتها حينا آخر.. وهكذا وهو ما يرصده الناس بسهولة ، فتراهم يتحدقون دائما عما أصابهم من ضعف، ويقارنون بين ما آل إليه حالها وما كانت عليه إلى سنة مضت ، ونجد من ذلك كما هائلا في أعمال المفكرين والأدباء ، سواء شعراء أو نثرا او رواية. ولأن الشباب لم يعاصروا الوضاع التى كان تسود المجتمع قبل التحولات الاقتصادية التى أثرت ، منذ أن بدات ، في قيم المجتمع وفي مثله يقارنوا بين ما كان قائما وما هو موجود الآن ، وهى المقارنة التى لابد منها للتعرف على ما للصداقة الحقيقية والصحيحة من اهمية ، لا في حياة الأفراد وحسب ، بل وفي حياة المجتمع كله. لذلك فإننا سنفرد لهذه الأمور كلها فصولا في هذه الكتبيب الذي نرجو ان يكون ن على الرغم من صغر حجمه مفيدا لكل من يقرأ وبخاصة الشباب.
